We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support our female client with Learning disabilites and Autism based in Chester.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.
This job involves days/waking nights and attracts a competitive rate of pay of £14 per hour (after completion of training). This role is 1:1 at home and 2:1 support in the community.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting our client with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Type 1 diabetes on both a 1:1 and 2:1 basis to meet her complex social needs. Our client can present with challenging behaviour and requires assistance with all of her activities of daily living, including but not limited to personal care, food and drink preparation and prompts, travelling to and from the day centre, social engagement, medication administration and monitoring of blood sugars and insulin administration.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license is essential to ensure the client can go out in her mobility vehicle and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
