We are looking for a Care Support Assistant to come and join our team to support our female client based in London, SW12.
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.
This job involves days and sleeping nights and attracts a competitive rate of pay of £20 per hour (after completion of training). This role is a weekend role during term-time as our client attends boarding school during the week. During non term-time, week day support may be required. This is a bank role (ad hoc) as hours will vary dependent on need and term-time and non-term time.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting our client with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Epilepsy on a 1:1 basis to meet her complex needs. Our client can present with self-injurious behaviour and requires assistance with all of her activities of daily living, including but not limited to personal care, food and drink preparation and prompts, direction to sue the toilet durng the day, seizure management, skin management, medication administration and assisting with social activities.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
