We are looking for a Care Support Worker to join our team to support our client based in Colne with Learning disabilities & sensory needs

We have Full Time and Part Positions available consisting of Days and Waking night shifts on a 2:1 basis

You will be paid £14.75 per hour for both day and waking night shifts after training is completed (provided during recruitment)

Main duties of the job

Support will include: 

Full assistance with all aspects of daily living

Personal care

Meal preparation/ eating & drinking

Maintaining the home environment

Social activities both in & out the house

Supporting with the clients high sensory needs

Shift patterns:

8am until 8pm

8pm until 8am

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include:    Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.  Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals.  Administering medication may be required.  

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.   Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
