We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support a young lady for 24 hours per week
Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid £12.25 per hour.
Part Time Position available (24 hours per week) on a 2:1 basis (Waking Nights)
Main duties of the job
The role focuses on supporting a client with complex health needs in her home
You will work TWO waking night shifts per week, from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting a young lady with Autism during the night.
Assisting with non-invasive ventilation while she sleeps.
Managing and monitoring her epilepsy and seizures.
Additionally, every fourth week, you will be part of an on-call rota to ensure consistent and familiar staffing levels are maintained. You will receive a flat rate of £50 for being on call during that week. Staff on call will be expected to cover any shifts that have not been filled by other team members due to sickness or annual leave.

Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.
