We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support an a client with an acquired brain injury.
The hours of support are 23.5 hours per week and the rate of pay is £12.75 per hour.
Main duties of the job
Support to meet the following outcomes:
For the client to live in a well maintained, clean, safe & habitable environment.
The client requires support with domestics and to prompt with ensuring that clothing, bedding etc is washed regularly.
The client requires support to access the local community and to engage in activities of her choice. The client suffers with anxieties when accessing the community alone due to the road traffic accident.
The client requires support with food shopping every week, to budget and compose a meal plan to allow the cleint to eat a healthy nutritious diet.
The client requires support with making appointments, liaising with other professionals and also to collect the weekly prescription.

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include: Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence. Your role will include, companionship, supporting with housework, running errands and supporting with preparing and cooking meals. Administering medication may be required.
Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant:
You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others. Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
