We are recruiting for a Finance Officer at our Hartford office.
This is a Part Time Position offering 22.5 hours a week-hours and days agreed at interview
This post involves effective management of the company accounts and managed client accounts
You will be paid £26,000 pro rata
Main duties of the job
Your role will include:
To be responsible for the managed client bank accounts, ensuring accurate recording of income and expenditure.
To update maintaining accounting ledgers, processing supplier invoices and journals and other financial records.
To ensure financial contracts and audit schedules are in place for all managed accounts
To undertake regular audits of records to ensure compliance with financial regulations and identify any concerns or anomalies in order for them to be resolved.
To accurately detail financial transactions, including banking, bank reconciliations, purchase orders, invoices, staff expenses, journals and petty cash and ensure appropriate audit trails are in place.
To ensure all invoices are raised and processed within specified deadlines.
To aid with the company purchases ledgers.
To be responsible for the financial monitoring of identified projects relating to the company business.
To adhere to the financial regulations concerning the recording, storing and processing of all confidential financial information.
To work with the Finance and Compliance Manager to develop and maintain systems and processes to facilitate the correct governance and compliance of the financial arrangements of the company.
