Job summary
The Services Manager will be required to provide overall effective leadership to the Care Management Team and Care Staff to ensure that all comply with company standards, local and national governance and the CQC regulatory requirements. Deliver CQC registered care services using a person-centred approach that maximises independence. The successful candidate will be able to vary hours according to the needs of the business including participation in on-call duties on a rota basis.
Main duties of the job
To manage the day-to-day running of care service delivery, keeping the Senior Management Team and Care Director regularly updated.
To provide all relevant information to prospective new clients completing all onboarding documentation.
To investigate complaints, take appropriate action and report to the Care Director and appropriate professional bodies.
To liaise with and co-operate with Care Quality Commission inspectors and inspections.
To ensure that all care documentation is up to date and entered into the company’s software system.
Assist with the management of audits and quality assurance assessments.
To ensure the accuracy, security, and retention of records to the required standard and timescales.
To provide on-call support during evenings and weekends (on a rota basis) ensuring that all shifts are covered and where necessary delivering care when required
To ensure your team of Care Managers are carrying out their duties and ensuring the highest quality of service with regards to our Personal Assistants (PAs), and Clients
Working with Human Resources ensuring all company policies and employment legislation are implemented.
To arrange or supervise the creation of staff rotas and on call rotas using the company scheduling software.

- We’re looking for somebody with the experience and 'can do' attitude to ensure the highest quality and levels of service to our Clients and Staff in line with guidelines set by the CQC.
- To provide oversight and leadership to PAs & Care Managers to ensure smooth operations within the service.
Essentials
- Hold a level 5 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification and experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Social Care environment ideally in a management role.
Desirable
- Experience of liaising with external agencies at a senior level
- Knowledge and experience of regulated services, fundamental care standards and key lines of enquiries.
