Health & Safety

The post holder is required to comply with the requirements of any policy or procedure issued in respect of minimising the risk of injury or disease. All accidents must be reported to your Line Manager and in line with the general philosophy of the organisation. As such, all staff are required to work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act.

This is particularly important where the information is of a personal or sensitive nature. • Essential criteria R.M.N. Registered Nurse on part 3/part 13 of NMC Register. R.N.L.D Registered Nurse on part 5/part 14 of NMC Register

Desirable

• Desirable criteria
• Working knowledge of current practice in relation to people with enduring mental health problems or learning disabilities. Knowledge of other relevant legislation e.g. Care Standards Act 2000, 1990 Community Care Act. Knowledge and ability to participate in clinical supervision. Evidence of personal development

Experience

• Recent experience of working with people with enduring mental health problems or learning disabilities Evidence of maintaining PREP

• Experience of supervising staff
