At Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, were searching for a dynamic Lead Occupational Therapist to guide our talented OT team and drive outstanding patient outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced OT who is ready to step into a leadership role - balancing team management, service development, and a small but rewarding clinical caseload.
You'll have the autonomy to shape how the OT service is delivered, supported by a well-provisioned team, and the flexibility to use your expertise where it makes the most impact.

What you'll be working:
Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
The role:
As our Lead OT, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead with impact: Manage, mentor, and inspire our Occupational Therapy team, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
- Clinical leadership: Hold a small caseload with a focus on complex needs, guiding your team through best practice approaches.
- Shape the service: Drive service development, contribute to strategy, and champion continuous improvement.
- Support others: Provide supervision, teaching, and professional development for junior staff and students.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with patients, families, carers, and the wider MDT to deliver truly holistic rehabilitation.
- Quality and safety: Lead on clinical governance, audit, and risk management to keep standards high and people safe.
