Join our expert multidisciplinary team at Hothfield Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part Active Neuro - our newly launched specialist division - dedicated to supporting individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The role:

As a Band 5 SLT, you will:

  • Support the assessment and treatment of adults with communication and swallowing difficulties
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions under supervision
  • Contribute to goal-setting and therapy planning in collaboration with the wider MDT
  • Be supported to develop skills in managing aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, cognitive-communication disorder, and dysphagia
  • Participate in supervision, reflective practice and training opportunities
  • Take an active role in service development and clinical discussions
  • Ensure that patient care is safe, effective, and in line with national guidelines

This is a developmental role with clear progression pathways and a strong emphasis on supervision and mentoring. You will work directly alongside our onsite Specialist Speech and Language Therapist and benefit from regular learning opportunities, structured CPD, and support from the wider Active Neuro network.
