This role as a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's care home in Basingstoke, Hampshire involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents during the night shift. Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act on their behalf. Your key responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and that residents receive the required care. You will be expected to provide high-quality care by undertaking accurate assessments and planning.
