Job summary
This is a temporary role as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare's care home in Blackwater. The focus will be on supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Main duties of the job
As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a variety of activities to engage and stimulate the residents. This will include maintaining a safe environment, reporting any changes in residents' conditions, ordering and preparing supplies, and establishing links with the local community. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a positive attitude toward older people, and previous experience working with older people in a residential setting.
