Job summary
This role involves supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. The Senior Care Assistant will monitor the wellbeing of residents, be involved in care planning, support with medication, and act as a key point of contact.
Main duties of the job
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development, and acting as a key point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals.
