Job summary

This is a permanent Receptionist role at Avery Healthcare's Grove Park Care Home in Headingly, Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support the General Manager. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong computer skills, and a positive, friendly, and welcoming attitude.

Main duties of the job

As a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to offer professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home. Other responsibilities will include answering the telephone and responding to enquiries, redirecting calls to relevant staff, and recording messages accordingly. You will also be responsible for completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing administrative assistance as required by the General Manager. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain the general tidiness of the reception area and liaise with the Housekeeping team to ensure standards are maintained.
