Job summary
This is a temporary role as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Brentwood Arches Care Home in Brentwood, operated by Avery Healthcare. The focus of the role is to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home, reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities, and establishing links with the local community to encourage access and promote intergenerational activity.
