Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse - Bank at Poets Mews Care Home in Somerset, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required. Your focus will be to ensure high standards of care for the residents, including undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team.

  • Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
