Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare's St Giles Care Home in Birmingham, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure the facilities are fully functional. You will also be responsible for supporting new residents to arrange their rooms, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, and providing an out-of-hours emergency service.
