Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Guildford House Care Home, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures, maintaining hotel service standards. Your other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.

  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
