Job summary
This is a role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The focus of the role is to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and strong communication skills.
