They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Carrstone House Care Home in Downham Market.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to their standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
