Job summary

This is a Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be to work as part of a team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and respecting residents' personal space and belongings.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
