Main duties of the job
The Sous Chef role at Avery Healthcare in Barnet Grange Care Home involves supporting the head chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service to the residents. The role includes preparing modified diets, supervising and directing the work of culinary staff, ensuring food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards, and supporting the team in understanding the Avery Food safety management system.
