Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Avery Healthcare, one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, as a Unit Manager - Clinical. You will be responsible for supporting the care home management team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to residents, while also leading a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers. The role requires strong clinical and leadership skills, a passion for dementia care, and a commitment to creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As the Unit Manager - Clinical, your primary focus will be to support the care home management team in providing exceptional care. This will involve leading a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers, providing staff support, enhancing the residents' quality of life through effective care planning, managing the rota to ensure appropriate coverage, and supporting the medication systems. You will need to be a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, and have a proven track record of working in a care home environment.
