Job summary

This is a role for a Registered Nurse to join the team at Avery Healthcare's care home in Bassett. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, including medication management, dressings, and chronic condition management. They will also act as the person in charge during their shifts, deputizing for the Manager as required.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for our residents. Other key responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident conditions, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions. Additionally, you will oversee the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
