Job summary
This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Knowle gate Care Home in Knowle. The focus will be on supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives, and health and social care professionals. You will need to have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, the ability to communicate effectively, a positive attitude, and be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
