This is a role as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home in Surrey. The focus will be on supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. The role involves ensuring a clean, tidy and well-presented front of house, replenishing food and drink options, and being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

Main duties of the job

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include supporting the residents with choosing their meal options, ensuring dining tables are set properly, keeping the front of house clean and tidy, replenishing fresh cakes/biscuits, finger food and fruit, and being aware of residents' dietary needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
  • Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
  • Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
  • Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
  • Being aware of residents dietary requirements.
