Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team to maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home. You will operate according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding cleaning requirements for different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.

  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
