Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Fleet Hall Care Home in Hampshire, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home. Your duties will include carrying out cleaning tasks according to instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
