Job summary

They are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their award-winning team at Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
