Job summary
This is a permanent Receptionist role at Avery Healthcare's Acacia Mews Care Home in Hatfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, high-quality customer service as the first point of contact within the home, as well as completing various administrative tasks.
Main duties of the job
As a Receptionist at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be on offering exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will be the first point of contact for the home, answering telephone enquiries, redirecting calls, and recording messages. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing reception-related administration, maintaining databases, and providing general administrative assistance as required by the General Manager. The role also involves liaising with the Housekeeping team to ensure the reception area is well-maintained.
