They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Maintenance Operative at Hinckley House Care Home in Hinckley. The role will focus on ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems while ensuring facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, advising on the supply and quality of items used, and providing out of hours emergency service.
