Job summary
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Alice Court Care Home in Eastbourne. The focus will be on supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. Additionally, you will support residents with their medication requirements, undertake staff supervisions, and act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, visitors, and health/social care professionals.
