Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be to work as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the care home. You will follow the established standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel-level service standards are consistently met. Your other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties as per the worksheet instructions, demonstrating a thorough understanding of different surface and material cleaning requirements, and always treating residents with dignity and respect.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
