Job summary

This role as an Activities Driver at Avery Healthcare in Esher involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while ensuring quality service. Main duties of the job

As an Activities Driver, your focus will be on providing transportation services for residents, assisting them with any special needs during the journey, and always keeping safety as the top priority. You will be responsible for carrying out miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed, while directing tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion. ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Activities Driver will be providing safe, timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Providing transportation services for residents.
  • Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required.
  • Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
  • Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
