Job summary
This is a Deputy Manager role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will support the General Manager in operating a compliant and effective person-centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors while meeting professional and statutory standards as well as commercial performance targets.
Main duties of the job
As the Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include providing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring medication policies and procedures are adhered to, monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, completing monthly audits and quality indicator reports, and attending weekly clinical meetings to monitor clinical risk areas. You will need to demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication abilities, and the flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
