Job summary
This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will have 2 years' experience in a similar care environment and hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals.
