This is a great opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to the residents, acting as the person in charge and standing in for the Manager as required. The role involves nursing tasks, medication distribution, advising families and GPs, and supervising the care team.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's Rowan Court Care Home, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents. Your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care. This will involve undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions. Additionally, you will have the responsibility for effectively deploying and supervising the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
