Job summary
This role as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Loxley Park Care Home in Sheffield involves supporting the Hospitality Manager to ensure consistent customer care and service, as well as maintaining health and safety standards in the catering service. The successful candidate will have experience in team leadership, compassion for residents, and relevant qualifications in food and hygiene or catering services.
Main duties of the job
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, your focus will be to support the Hospitality Manager in ensuring that customer care and service are delivered consistently, and that the home operates to the agreed standard regarding the catering service, while also ensuring that all Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to within your area of responsibility. Other responsibilities will include liaising with the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef to meet residents' hydration and nutritional needs, supporting and delivering all catering services, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining areas, and ensuring staff are trained, supervised, and appraised accordingly.
