This is a Registered Nurse - Bank role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observe all instructions to act upon their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for our residents. Your responsibilities will include undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, which give rise to concern, and keeping them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care. You will also be responsible for providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
