Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and supporting new residents to arrange their rooms. You will also advise on the supply and quality of items, ensure timely ordering of replacement goods, and provide out-of-hours emergency support.
