Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team to maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, following standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties, understanding cleaning requirements for different surfaces, and ensuring a well-presented and well-maintained environment for the residents. You will also need to demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home.You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
