Job summary

This is a role for a Registered Nurse to work at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for the residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in resident condition, and for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team.

  • Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
