Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect. You will also recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, escalating any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident, and practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
