Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Avery Healthcare as a Unit Manager - Clinical. You will be responsible for supporting the care home management team to deliver high-quality, innovative, and inclusive care for residents, visitors, and staff. With a focus on enhancing residents' quality of life through effective care planning, you will lead a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and supporting the management of medication systems.
Main duties of the job
As the Unit Manager - Clinical, your key responsibilities will include leading a team to provide staff support, demonstrating and instructing care activities, enhancing residents' quality of life through care planning, managing staff rotas, and supporting the management of medication systems. You will need to have an active NMC PIN, an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, and at least two years' experience working in a care home environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are also essential.
