Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare's Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of care for the residents, including undertaking nursing tasks, advising families and GPs, and effectively supervising the care team. You will demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience, up-to-date knowledge of care, and strong interpersonal and care planning skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asa Registered Nursewill beto act as person in charge,standingin for the Manager asrequiredandobserveall instructions to act upon his/her behalfwhilst youensurehigh standardsof care toourresidents.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care.
  • Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care.
  • Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.
