Job summary
The Wellbeing and Activities Assistant role is focused on supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being at the Avery Healthcare facility in Esher. The role requires effective communication skills, understanding of the role of interaction in the general well-being of people, and a positive attitude towards older adults.
Main duties of the job
As Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Other responsibilities include maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for activities, and establishing links with the local community.
