Job summary

This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. You will also be involved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations. Additionally, you will support residents with their medication requirements and undertake staff supervisions, supporting staff with their development where required. You will act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
