Avery is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Care Assistant. The role involves delivering high standards of personal care and contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect. You will also need to recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be expected to act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident, and to practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
