Job summary

This is a Registered Nurse - Bank role at Avery Healthcare in Winchester. The job involves providing high-quality care to residents, acting as the person in charge, and supervising the care team. Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. You will ensure high standards of care for our residents, including undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in care choices. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care.
