Job summary
This is a temporary Registered Nurse role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and ensuring high standards of care for the residents. The successful candidate will be compassionate, supportive, and accountable, with a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care.
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse, your focus will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observe all instructions to act upon their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for the residents. Other responsibilities include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during the period of duty.
